About Rogue:
The mutant known as Rogue has the uncontrollable ability of absorbing the energy of others through physical contact, temporarily incorporating their abilities, powers, memories and even personality with a touch, a process which wears her victims out.
About the Creation:
Number three in a multi-print series featuring the strong young women of the X-Men as members of a roller derby team. "I could actually see Rogue participating in roller derby, and I think she would kick ass. After Storm and Jean, I began work on Rogue as a next addition to my series of ‘roller derby’ X-Men. Each character is a standalone plan for composition and color but I was always aware of how they might look in a collection all together.” – Francine Delgado
About the Artist:
Fran(cine) Delgado is a Costa Rican-born artist (Pura Vida!) now living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Skilled in many aspects of design, her most recognized fan artworks include the female heroes from X-Men: Evolution and her on-screen illustration work include The Addams Family, Monster High, and Megaman.
