About Iron Man:
Tony Stark, son of Howard and Maria, inherited Stark Industries after their passing. His tech savvy and boundless creativity in weapons-manufacturing excelled the industry, while he enjoyed the extravagance of a luxurious life. When a weapons contract took him abroad, Tony was nearly killed by an IED explosion. Captured by warlord Wong-Chu, Tony discovered shrapnel from the explosion had come close to piercing his heart. Yinsen, fellow captive and engineer, saved his life. Inspired, Tony and Yinsen created the Iron Man suit, instrumental in Tony's escape. Back in the US, Tony improved the suit, commencing a lifetime of mission.
