Who is Harley Quinn:
Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn (a pun on the word "harlequin"), first appeared in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Joker's Favor", where she served as a humorous female sidekick to the Joker. In her first appearances she was depicted as a character completely devoted to the Joker, totally oblivious to his psychotic nature and obvious lack of affection for her; this characterization has remained more or less consistent throughout her subsequent appearances.
About the Creation:
This poster was inspired by a fan commission, asking for Harley Quinn to be playing with puppets of Batman and Joker. "The gentleman who requested this commission had to wait a little longer than usual to receive it, and so I put a little extra on it to help melt away any frustration. This was his concept. The colorist really added to the image and brought the art alive. " - Chad Hardin
About the Artist:
Chad Hardin grew up in the desert of Las Vegas, Nevada. His earliest work was the animation of video games, including God of War’ and ‘Destroy All Humans’. Today, he is best recognized as an illustrator of ‘Harley Quinn’ in the hit DC Comics series, and creator of ‘Death Watch’ with Artist Elite.
