The character is a handsome and brave polo player who, along with his companions Dale Arden and Dr. Hans Zarkov, travels to the planet Mongo to battle the evil Emperor Ming the Merciless. Flash's adventures span various media, including comic strips, radio serials, film serials, television series, and movies. The stories are known for their imaginative settings, thrilling action, and Flash's unwavering dedication to saving Earth and other planets from Ming's tyranny.

Story Description: 
Flash awakes on a secret prison planet somewhere in the galaxy. Upon learning that Dale Arden is the subject of an assassination plot, he’s forced to break out and make his way across the galaxy to save her. Along the way, he encounters old friends, new threats, and a greater mystery surrounding WHO is pulling the strings of this universe. The first exciting issue in an all-new ongoing series!

Bob McLeod, born in Florida in 1951 is a Hall of Fame comic art legend who is best known for co-creating Marvel Comics’ The New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont. Bob’s illustrious credentials also include work on The Incredible Hulk, Conan the Barbarian, Legion of Super Heroes, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman and The New Titans, Star Wars and Spider-Man.
