About Captain Jack Sparrow:
Captain Jack Sparrow is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and is portrayed by Johnny Depp.
In the films, Sparrow is one of the nine pirate lords in the Brethren Court, the Pirate Lords of the Seven Seas. He can be treacherous and survives mostly by using wit and negotiation rather than by force, opting to flee most dangerous situations and to fight only when necessary.

A tribute to the pirate character Captain Jack Sparrow from the action-adventure movie franchise, The Pirates of the Caribbean, as portrayed on screen by actor Johnny Depp. “Johnny (Depp)’s seen this and it pleased him, so that was good enough for me. The original was painted in oil, an early step in my return to the media after some encouragement from Joe Rubinstein. The dry time with oil is very different and can be a challenge, but I loved the resulting richness of color that you just can’t get with acrylic.” - James C Mulligan
