About Lady of the Lake:
The figure of the Lady of the Lake, also known as Viviane or Nimuë, has appeared in several tales about King Arthur and his court. Legend states she resided in a castle underwater, situated on the sublime isle of Avalon. Furthermore, it is believed she raised Lancelot and bestowed onto Arthur the powerful blade Excalibur, which was held in high regard.
