About the Silver Surfer:
Norrin Radd, a young astronomer from Zenn-La, was imbued with power by Galactus to save his homeworld. His reward: a new body and a craft to travel faster than light. The Silver Surfer, as he was now known, searched the cosmos for Galactus' meals. Visiting Earth, he met the Fantastic Four, and rediscovered his heroic nature--betraying Galactus to save us all. A price was paid: exile on Earth.
About the Artist:
Bob McLeod is a renowned comic art legend, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1951. Hailing from Florida, he is best known for co-creating Marvel Comics' The New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont. McLeod has also contributed to The Incredible Hulk, Conan the Barbarian, Legion of Super Heroes, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, The New Titans, Star Wars, and Spider-Man.
