About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
In New York, mysterious radioactive ooze has mutated four sewer turtles into talking, upright-walking, crime-fighting ninjas. The intrepid heroes -- Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo -- are trained in the Ninjutsu arts by their rat sensei, Splinter. When a villainous rogue ninja, who is a former pupil of Splinter, arrives and spreads lawlessness throughout the city, it's up to the plucky turtles to stop him.
About the Creation:
Feel the turtle power as Raphael leads his brothers Donatello, Leonardo and Michelangelo into battle defending the city of New York against the evil Shredder and his Foot Clan. “This show hit me at just the right age and was one of my favorites. I was a big Raphael fan. I was headed for a show in New York and I knew I needed Turtles in my portfolio for this show. It was a lot of work but it sold out in its first run at the show. Funny story, I’m at a show in Portland, with my head down working on a commission and and a guy in a hat and backpack walks up to the table. He says, “Wow, that’s a cool Turtles piece.” I half look up to say thank you, do a double take and realize it’s Kevin Eastman, creator of Turtles. He even signed it, “Your work is really cool” and even drew a little turtle on it. SO I got the okay from the man himself.” - Mostafa Moussa
About the Artist:
Mostafa Moussa was born November 1978 in Seymour Indiana and now resides with his family in Houston, Texas. He is an accomplished comic book artist and inker who values collaborative art projects over going alone. His most recognized work includes covers and interior work for Batman, The Flash, Superman, Fantastic Four and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Mostafa has inked for some of the industry’s most recognized artists like Chad Hardin (Harley Quinn), Alé Garza (Batgirl) and Carlo Barberi (Deadpool).
