About Captain America:
Comic book fans know Captain America as the star-spangled superhero designed to take on the Axis of Evil during WWII. His popularity was through the roof and Timely Comics couldn't get enough--but sadly, after the war, his days of glory began to fade. It wasn't until '64 when Marvel revived him that he reclaimed his rightful place in pop culture.
About the Artist:
Bob McLeod is a renowned comic art legend, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1951. Hailing from Florida, he is best known for co-creating Marvel Comics' The New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont. McLeod has also contributed to The Incredible Hulk, Conan the Barbarian, Legion of Super Heroes, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, The New Titans, Star Wars, and Spider-Man.
