Who is Harley Quinn:
Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn (a pun on the word "harlequin"), first appeared in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Joker's Favor", where she served as a humorous female sidekick to the Joker. In her first appearances she was depicted as a character completely devoted to the Joker, totally oblivious to his psychotic nature and obvious lack of affection for her; this characterization has remained more or less consistent throughout her subsequent appearances.
About the Creation:
The one time DC Comics Artist Chad Hardin would draw Harley Quinn in the classic Bruce Timm style: "For a commission request, I was asked to draw inspiration from the art of Bruce Timm and then put my own flavoring to it. I don’t typically green light these kinds of requests but this one snuck through in 2020. It is as close as you’ll ever get to me drawing in someone else’s style. The montage background is a Rogues’ Gallery highlighting some of Harley’s Gotham relationships.” – Chad Hardin
About the Artist:
Chad Hardin grew up in the desert of Las Vegas, Nevada. His earliest work was the animation of video games, including God of War’ and ‘Destroy All Humans’. Today, he is best recognized as an illustrator of ‘Harley Quinn’ in the hit DC Comics series, and creator of ‘Death Watch’ with Artist Elite.
