The Beyonder, a cosmic entity, becomes enamored with Earth's superheroes. He creates "Battleworld", a planet in a distant galaxy, and furnishes it with weapons and technology. He forcibly teleports heroes and supervillains, declaring: "Slay your enemies and I will fulfill your desires!"
About the Artist:
John Hebert, born in the Empire State, is a Marvel vet whose inaugural work of art was the walls of his family abode. At four years of age, he outlined his plan for how TV's Batman and Robin (Adam West and Burt Ward) would evade The Penguin (Burgess Meredith).
